OUR WORK
HCG Associates continues to assist our clients on a daily basis, from rapidly growing nationwide customers to local single shop operators. Here are examples of how we have helped.
Representation
HCG was engaged to assist and represent a seafood distributor in the investigation of a workplace fatality. This included investigating the incident and representing the client with public safety and regulatory representatives. HCG collaborated with the client’s legal counsel to resolve additional EHS concerns. HCG has maintained the client relationship, supporting the PSM program and EHS regulatory oversight.
HCG Associates assisted a client with a successful lawsuit against their insurer. Working with the client’s counsel, HCG assisted with research, depositions, and representation in winning the multi-million-dollar judgment.
HCG frequently collaborates with clients in rectifying EPA and OSHA violations and represents them from the corrective action through the penalty phases.
Consulting and Business Development
HCG Associates initially began consulting for a third-party logistical provider established as a single warehouse in 1941. Still, today, it has grown into a privately owned network of more than 2.1 million sq ft of state-of-the-art warehousing capacity strategically located across the US.
HCG has assisted along the way, as they experienced tremendous growth over a short period. This presented challenges to them that required an understanding of OSHA and EPA standards and regulations. HCG provided the knowledge and support necessary for our client’s significant growth, and we still enjoy working with them today!
On-Site EHS Representation
HCG Associates has assisted a small family-owned Ice manufacturing and distribution facility for several years. This client plays a crucial role in assisting New Bedford’s fishing industry and assisting several businesses in meeting their objectives. HCG Associates has provided training, program development, and compliance advice on all local, state, and federally mandated regulations. This client is further required to operate under the Process Safety Management and Risk Management Programs due to their utilization and storage of Anhydrous Ammonia. HCG has assisted in developing health and safety objectives and managing and overseeing the health and safety program while acting as an EHS representative for the client at a fraction of the cost of hiring a full-time EHS director.
