ANSI/IIAR 9 Gap Analysis
Ensure safety and compliance with an IIAR 9 Gap Analysis for ammonia refrigeration systems, aligning with ANSI/IIAR 9 Standards.
ANSI/IIAR 9-2020 Minimum System Safety Requirements for Existing Closed-Circuit Ammonia Refrigeration Systems
Adherence to ANSI/IIAR 9-2020 Addendum A 2024 Standard
At HCG, we are dedicated to ensuring the utmost safety and efficiency of ammonia refrigeration systems in compliance with the ANSI/IIAR 9-2020 Addendum A 2024 Standard. Our expert team conducts comprehensive IIAR 9 Gap Analyses, meticulously evaluating existing closed-circuit vapor compression ammonia refrigeration systems.  HCG’s evaluation process uses a detailed checklist based on IIAR 9 requirements, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of your system(s).
The evaluation will encompass a detailed examination of:Â
- System Documentation
- Review of applicable minimum system safety requirements
- A physical inspection of the ammonia refrigeration system to identify any gaps that exist between the specific minimum system safety requirements and the actual components in the ammonia refrigeration system.
Evaluations shall be performed every 5 Years
In line with the ANSI/IIAR 9-2020, all facilities utilizing ammonia in refrigeration systems must perform an initial evaluation on or before January 1, 2026, and be re-evaluated every 5 years thereafter.
Delivering Actionable Insights
HCG provides a detailed report outlining any identified gaps with the current system including recommendations for corrective action.
HCG makes it easy
This crucial analysis can be provided as a standalone service or seamlessly integrated with our IIAR 6 Annual Inspection, IIAR 6 Five-Year Mechanical Integrity Inspection, 3-Year Compliance Audit, or 5-Year Process Hazard Analysis.
